Indra Kumari Rai

Indra Kumari Rai is 39 years old and lives with her husband and five children in a rural village called Limlima Basti in the Ilam District. Her husband is disabled due to an early childhood accident and has no work. Indra is the primary earner in the family and she works in a farm in the village where she earns a daily wage but this is not enough to provide for her family's needs.

To supplement her income Indra has requested a loan to buy a milking cow. She hopes to sell the milk in her local market and with this income improve her family's living condition.
