Rama Acharya

Rama Acharya's husband is a farmer and each day she works with him on their small plot of land in Acharya in Ilam district. But this barely generates enough income to provide for the family's daily needs and education for their two children.
Rama, who is 29, has decided to start rearing goats, and has requested a loan from the bank to finance this. She hopes the goat raising business will increase their income, and allow them to improve the nutrition, health and education of her family.
